Our Beliefs

At Beulah Elementary School, we believe that:

  • Learning is a lifelong process and the quality of that process depends on the involvement of the home, school and community.
  • Reading is the foundation for expanding knowledge and thought.
  • Communication is at the heart of the education process and essential to learning.
  • All students can and have the right to learn.
  • An orderly, safe environment is conducive to learning.
  • Providing role models for teamwork is essential.
  • Adequate funding for materials and personnel are essential.
  • Care for both personal and academic growth must be valued.  A quality education encompasses not just academic needs, but the ability to encourage creativity, self-esteem and respect for one another.

Dear Parents and Students:

On behalf of the Beulah Elementary School Family and community, it is truly my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to you as we begin the school year. To those students and parents who are new to BES, we extend an especially warm welcome and best wishes for an exciting and productive year in our school. We hope that you will quickly feel at home and become involved in the activities of our school through PTO. I hope your summer has gone well and you are excited for the beginning of the new school year.

I know this is going to be an exciting year as we collectively strive to create a culture of learning. I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children and this community. I feel extremely fortunate to be working with such an exceptional group of students, families, faculty, and staff members.

I truly believe that communication is the key to a successful educational experience. Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of Beulah Elementary School. Education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and community. All children are more successful when we work as a team to achieve educational goals. We invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTO, or attending and supporting school events. Research clearly supports that when parents/guardians participate and are involved in their child’s education, there is a greater likelihood of academic success for the child.

At Beulah Elementary School, safety is our top priority. We ask that you support these efforts by following our visitor guidelines as stated in our school handbook. Please sign in and make sure you have a visitor’s badge located on your chest when visiting our school. Additionally, photo identification is now required for any visitor entering Beulah Elementary School. If you need to change your child’s transportation home from school, please use the Pickup Patrol app. For the safety of the students, NO phone calls or notes will be accepted to change a student’s transportation home; You must log in to the app before 2:15 pm on the day of the change of transportation is needed and enter the way you would like for your student to go home that day.

I hope that each of you have been enjoying these past few weeks of summer and are now looking forward to a great school year. This year will be busy, exciting, and hopefully very rewarding for each student.

Best wishes to each of you and thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Arthur D. Caffey
Principal
